C16 house, timber framed, exposed with plaster infill. Posts jowled, sparsely
wind-braced. H-plan of 2 storeys. Roofs ridged and gabled, peg-tiled. Red brick
chimney at rear of south crosswing and additions along ground storey on east
with modern shop windows inserted. South elevation with central front door and
modern casements on first floor. Black weatherboards on west elevation.
