3/260 Brewhouse to rear of Bell Inn
GV II
Brewhouse, c1855, red brick and stone with slate roof. Two
storeys. Flush quoins and flush surrounds to openings. Main
range has large louvred openings, two each side and one to south
end wall, now altered to window, 2-light window in south end gable
and ground floor door on east side. North end is raised slightly
with louvred vent each side and roof slightly higher, with ridge
gabled vent, now slate-hung but presumably louvred originally
Two-light window on east side. A sale poster of 1857 describes
the brewery as newly erected.
