House, C17 rubble stone, refronted in painted brick in early C19.
Bridgwater tile roof. Rear chimney gable. Two storeys and
attic. Front has two 16-pane sashes each floor and centre 6-panel
door, all in flush stone surrounds, the door with hood on brackets
(broken 1986). Added 16-pane sash to first floor centre. West
end wall has 2-light recessed chamfered mullion window. John
Wesley traditionally preached from here before the building of the
chapel opposite in 1774-5.
