Garden walls, probably early C19, red brick, garden-wall bond, with
ashlar coping. High wall along High Street with flush quoins at
west end and adjacent door in flush moulded surround. Curious
ashlar recess, like a blank gun-port. Wall is ramped down to
lower east side with early C19 iron gate in centre. South side has
C20 temple feature using two cast-iron Ionic columns said to come
from Penzance Market Hall. Wall is ramped up to higher west wall
which has central early C19 summerhouse, ashlar with rounded ends,
3-window front with plinth, raised piers and moulded cornice.
Cambered-head door flanked by similar windows, all with carved
keystones. C20 glazing.
