GV II

Villa, c1830, ashlar with hipped slate roof, and centre stacks.
Basement and 2 storeys, 3-window range, square plan. Boarded deep
eaves on paired brackets. Main front has raised plinth, band,
eaves band and angle strips, plain 12-pane sashes above and
channelled-rusticated ground floor with 12-pane sashes recessed in
segmental-headed panels each side of 6-panel door with overlight in
Roman Doric 2-column porch with fluted columns. Rear has similar
details each side but 2-storey timber projection obscures first
floor centre window and is built around original ashlar porch with
panelled lintel. Half-glazed door within. Two segmental-headed
dormers. West side 3-window range mostly of blank panels. East
