Possibly C15 house restored and enlarged. Originally a 2 bay open hall with end
bays. Old part visible of 2 storeys, 2 windows with tile hung 1st floor, brick
below. High-pitched, long-hipped tiled roof with gablets and an off-centre stack
inserted. Modern casement windows. Interior shows square timber-framing with
large braces, especially to slightly cambered tie beam of main truss; and a transitional
type of roof having both central posts and side purlings. Considerable C19 additions.
