12/340 Egypt Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse, mid to later C18, red brick with ashlar dressings and
stone slate roof, hipped at north west angle. Axial ridge stack
and south end stack to front range, east end stack to rear wing.
Two storeys and attic, L-plan. Front has two hipped dormers, flush
quoins and raised string course changing in profile to drip mould
to right of stack, suggesting that right two bays are earlier.
Cyma-moulded flush mullion windows, two 3-lights to each floor to
right, then door in raised moulded surround with hood on brackets
and one 3-light each floor to left. North wall is rubble stone
with casement pair and triple casement above and 2-light cyma-
moulded recessed mullion window and door below.
