Cottage. A late C18 squatter's cottage altered and extended in C19. Front
painted brick in Flemish bond, rear elevation of cob. Hipped thatched roof with
1 external brick stack to right hand side and hexagonal pot and brick chimney
stack to left. Left hand bay is a C19 or C20 addition. 1 storey 4 windows.
C20 casements and 4 plank door with iron studs and heraldic leaded glazed
viewing hole. C20 gabled wooden porch with 4 square wooden supports. Rear
elevation of cob has 1 triangular brick buttress and C19 brick lean to with
slate roof. Interior retains ledged plank doors and exposed roof timbers of
thin scantling with collar beam. Included for social historical interest as
a squatter's cottage.
