Early C19. Symmetrical front (south) of 2 storeys with large curved 2 storeyed bays on either side of a central entrance (with 1 window above). Low-pitched hipped slate roof with wide coved eaves soffit; round the bays this becomes a thin moulded cornice with very shallow modillions, a frieze, and a moulding above the frames. Red brick walling in Flemish bond, some blue headers, also to the bays at each level. The bays have 3 sashes of 3.4.3 lights in width, the central windows is a widely proportioned sash in reveals. Richly ornamented doorcase has a segmental pediment, the cornice having carved small modillions. On each side the broken entablature continues as a pulvinated frieze and an architrave. Angular Ionic caps above fluted 7/8's columns, with moulded base. Within the reveal is curved at top and sides, to meet a thin reeded architrave, and 6-panelled door with glazed top panels. The house is almost square, with some similar features on the other elevations, which have been altered, and added to recently.
