Strelley House

Barn and stable. c1800, altered mid C19 and mid C20. Coursed
squared stone with pantile roofs.
Barn, to east, 4 bays, has off-centre barn doors, now blocked,
with a late C19 6-panel door inserted. To right, a
segment-arched cross casement, 3 lights, and above, a smaller
flat-headed casement. To left, identical fenestration, with 2
windows on each floor. All these windows have leaded glazing.
Lower stable, to left, has a blocked central opening with a
small casement inserted, flanked by single larger windows.
West gable, to street, has full width board doors with an off
centre stone pier and common wooden lintel.
Barn interior, rendered and ceiled in. Stable has C19 king
post roof. These outbuildings have been used as a chapel,
garage and joinery workshop.
