Pair of shops with accommodation above. Early to mid C19.
Roughcast with some painted stone dressings and a slate roof.
3 storeys. Each shop of 2 bays. The windows to the upper
storeys are glazing-bar sashes with narrow stone surrounds and
projecting sills. The ground-floor shop fronts have been
altered, but the left-hand one includes 2 painted limestone
piers with caps and bases, flanking a passageway entrance. The
rusticated front to the right appears to be a late C20
alteration in painted cement mortar. Above a plain eaves band
there is a timber modillion gutter cornice. Gable chimneys.
