Row of shops. Early to mid C19. Stucco, with quoin strips, on
probable rubble; slatehanging at rear; asbestos slate roof
with projecting eaves; brick stacks: end stack on left and
central axial stack. Double-depth plan, irregular at rear.
3 storeys; 4-window range. Original hornless sashes with
glazing bars to No.3 (to the left) and to 2nd floor of Nos 5 &
6, otherwise later horned sashes. Ground floor has 4 shop
fronts: late C19 3-light shop front to No.3; late C19 double
shop front with quadrant panes flanking central doorway to
No.5; early C20 shop front to No.4, all with end pilasters.
Late C20 shop front to No.6. INTERIOR not inspected. Included
for group value.
