Public house. Early C19. Incised stucco on probable rubble
with rusticated quoins and sill band to 2nd floor; dry slate
hipped roof with projecting eaves and brick end stacks.
Double-depth plan. 4 storeys; 3-window range. C20 horned
sashes to upper floors; central 2nd-floor window blind;
earlier C20 windows to 1st floor and 1992 copy shop front to
ground floor. Left-hand return is 2-window range with original
16-pane hornless sashes to upper floors; mid to late C19
canted oriels to 1st floor. Original pilastered doorway with
moulded entablature and pair of round-arched doors to
ground-floor right. INTERIOR not inspected.
