Town house with later shops. Early C19. Render replacing
stucco; asbestos slate hipped roof with projecting eaves; rear
wing with dry slate roof; brick lateral stack to rear left and
brick gable stack to wing. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys;
3-window range. Original 12-pane hornless sashes (also to
one-window return on right). Ground floor has 2 late C19 shop
fronts under full-width moulded entablature continued over
3-light return of larger corner shop (No.42) on right. No.43
has original basket-arched lights, both have end pilasters.
