Pair of houses and shops. Early C19. Rendered limestone rubble
with brick gable stacks and stone slate roof.
Each 3 storeys and attic; 1-window range. Double-depth plan. A
similar pair with party wall set to the right and matching
doorways either side with overlights and half-glazed doors,
beneath a full-width flat canopy which extends over early C19
shop fronts, that to the right a good example with a shallow
bow with 20 panes, fascia and panelled jambs, that to the left
late C19, plate-glass with thin mullions, and narrow facias.
2/2-pane sashes in exposed boxes, and plate-glass dormer
sashes.
