Gighouse and kitchen, now house. c1830. Coursed, squared
limestone with ashlar plinth, brick left-hand lateral and rear
gable stacks and interlocking tile roof.
Double-depth plan at right-angles to street over former
gighouse.
2 storeys and attic; 1-window range. A tall, narrow gable
lower than the ridge of No.19 to the right, with a segmental
relieving arch across a linked C20 door and left-hand window,
with cambered heads to former first-floor hoist door now with
a C20 8/12-pane sash, and a small 2/2-pane attic sash; similar
heads to 2 first-floor 8/8-pane sashes in the left-hand
return. INTERIOR: details include a timber framed lobby,
central right-hand dogleg stair and timber fire places;
extensively remodelled c1992. Further information: No.21 to
the left formerly a service wing to Nos 19 and 19a (qv).
