Pair of houses, now one. Late C18 with probable earlier
origins, unified mid C19. Roughcast limestone rubble with
brick gable stacks to right-hand house.
Double-depth plan.
2 storeys and attic; 1-window range left-hand house, with
larger 2-window range house. A near-symmetrical house has a
left of centre round-arched doorway with a raised surround,
key and imposts, and plate-glass fanlight, part blocked with
an inserted mid C19 window with margin panes, and 2/2-pane
horned sashes; low first-floor windows may indicate a raised
roof.
Lower left-hand house has a deeply-set doorway with 4-panel
door, no ground-floor window, a 2/2-pane first-floor sash and
gabled roof dormer with 2/2-pane sash.
