Churchyard Cross Cross in Churchyard to South East of Church of St Edward

A Grade II Listed Building in Leek, Staffordshire

Round-shafted Mercian pillar cross, Leek

Uploader's Comments

The large cylindrical-shafted cross in the churchyard of St. Edward's is the most well preserved and complete example of this type of cross in Staffordshire. The base is modern and the cross-head is missing but the shaft survives well.
