Includes: Nos.1 AND 3 MARKET PLACE.
House now bank and offices. Early C19; converted and altered
in early C20. Gault brick with stone faced ground floor; slate
hipped roof with 2 stacks on rear roof slope.
EXTERIOR: 3-storey 3-window front. Central double-leaf doors
flanked by 3-light windows with glazing bars framed in 4
shallow pilasters. Aprons of windows have panels and at
corners are cartouches labelled Lloyds Bank. First floor with
three 8/8 unhorned sashes under gauged skewback arches, that
to right with glazing bars reduced to 8/2. Three 4/4
second-floor sashes with gauged skewback arches. Left return
to Market Place has single window with sashes as before.
