House on corner of Chapel Lane, now with a C20 shop in the
High Street. C17 main front block, mid C19 rear block.
Roughcast over limestone rubble and brick, steep-pitched
double-Roman tile roof to the C17 block, artificial slate
gambrel roof to the rear block. Each block is one-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range to the left return in
Chapel Lane. The C17 block has horizontal windows, a C19
3-light casement to the 1st floor and a blocked window to the
ground floor. The C19 block has a flush 6-panel door to the
far left and stopped cyma-moulded 2-light mullioned windows
with plate-glass sashes above. A similar window on each floor
to the right is blocked. The rear gable end is English-bond
brick.
