Former mill building, now unoccupied. Late C18/early C19.
Coursed limestone rubble with freestone architraves and eaves
course, hipped pantile roof and truncated lateral stack.
Rectangular plan.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; symmetrical 5-window range. Cyma-moulded
architraves to 4-light stone-mullioned windows with no glass,
boarded on the inside, those to the ground floor are boarded
outside. A wide segmental arch to the centre has impost blocks
and a keystone.
INTERIOR: not inspected. Said from map evidence to have been
built between 1788 and 1820, this building was used as a
private school between 1883 and 1899.
