Two houses, now a shop. c1860. Limestone ashlar, slate roof
with tall ashlar stacks to front slopes of gable ends of
No.16. Classical style. Double-depth plans.
EXTERIOR: No.16 is 3 storeys; 3-window range. 6/6-pane sash
windows in raised surrounds, bracketed sills and blind window
to the centre of the 2nd floor, platband continuing across
No.15 to the right, raised surrounds and panelled aprons to
taller 1st-floor windows. Heavy cornice and blocking course,
pilasters to quoins and party wall.
No.15 is 2 storeys; one-window range with a parapet above the
platband, otherwise similar to No.16.
