Walls and 2 sets of piers. 150 and 50 metres west of Welbeck
Abbey. Mid C19. Ashlar. Pair of tall rusticated piers set on
shaped bases with single columnae rostrata to east and west
supporting copper lamps. The moulded coping is surmounted by
single lions. A single ashlar scroll runs from each pier onto
the balustraded wall, which is set on a plinth and extends in a
curve for 22 metres, meets a small rusticated pier with coping
topped by copper lamp and continues at a right angle for a
further 15 metres when it terminates in a single similar small
pier. 100 metres east is a similar pair of small piers, on the
same axis.
