House. Late C17 or C18. Stone rubble with slate roof. 2 storeys, 6 bays with
single storey outhouse to left. Windows have slated lintels and C20 small-paned
casements. Entrance to 3rd bay in lean-to porch has 2-light wooden chamfered-
mullion window to left, within porch, with 4 intermediate bars and interior oak
shutters with harr hinges supported by wooden bars, recess in soffit of lintel.
Entrances to outhouse and end bay. Gable-end stack and cross-axial stack with
round shaft. Rear similar; wing to left hand end originally barn. Interior has
some chamfered beams, that to fireplace with heck post; former barn has 2 collar
and tie beam trusses. The wooden mullioned window with original shutters is a
rare example.
