EASTON ON THE HILL WEST STREET

House. Late C18/early C19. Squared coursed limestone, with Collyweston slate
roof. Originally 2-unit plan. Single storey with attic. 2-window range of C19
casements under renewed lintels. Pair of gabled eaves dormers with similar
casements. Central C20 door under concrete lintel. Brick stacks at ends. C19
lean-to extension to right, and C20 single-storey extension to rear left. Gable
ends have triangular vents, now blocked, indicating that the structure may
originally have been a barn. Interior not inspected but probably has remains of
open fireplace now blocked.
