Detached cottage. C17. Ham stone roughly cut and squared, ashlar dressings; thatched roof between stepped coped gables;
brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Mullioned windows below; to bay 1 a 3-light hollow chamfer moulded with
label; to bar 2 a 2-light hollow chamfer moulded with unworked top mitres and no label, and to bay 3 a 3-light ovolo
moulded without label; above 2-light casement windows of early date; all windows rectangular-leaded. Between upper bays
2 and 3 an oval window; right of bay 1 chamfered cambered arched doorway with studded boarded door. Two further
2-light mullioned windows in south gable, and lean-to extension at rear. Interior not seen, but a report suggests much
internal re-arrangement. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO, 1983).
