Early C19 building but church of earlier foundation. Main facade faces south. Red
brick with hipped slate roof. 2 storeys. 3 windows, the centre bay breaks forward.
Round arched sashes with glazing bars to 1st floor. Ground floor has 3 doors,
the outer ones round arched with solid tympana. Doors with 6 raised and fielded
panels (centre 1 double) Side facade to Chapel Street has 3 windows, round arched
to 1st floor and with gauged flat brick arches below, all sashes with glazing bars.
To rear - schoolroom of 3 storeys, top 1 added later. Generally 4 windows irregularly
placed, sashes with glazing bars. Double doors, 6 panels in all.
