1878. Italianate. White brick with stone dressings. Roof not visible. 2 storeys.
6 windows, the outer bays advanced, all unbarred sashes, round arched with stone
archivolts, keystones and linked by stone bands at impost height. Stone cornice
above ground floor. Outer doors (with Gibbs treatment to engaged columns) under
pediments. Doors round arched with keystones, archivolts and plain round arched
fanlights. 8 panelled doors. Adjoining house (built as Police Station) in similar
brick with tiled roof and end chimneys. 2 storeys. 3 unbarred sashes. Band at
1st floor and eaves cornice. Centre panelled door with plain rectangular fanlight
and plain hood on brackets.
No 13 forms a group with the Courthouse and adjoining house opposite.
