Cottage. Mid-late C18, but dated WS 1887 on later plaque over door. Coursed
ironstone rubble with Uppingham stone quoins and 2 limestone bands. Thatched
roof, coped gable to lane, flanking brick chimneys. 1 1/2 storeys, 2 bays. C19
barred wooden casements with small panes and notched chamfered lintels, the upper
windows with thatch eyebrows. Central C20 half-glazed door in C20 wooden
surround with C20 glazed porch. Small C20 rendered extension with flat roof
projects from left bay. Gable end has paired casement. Another small 2-light
window to rear.
