Cl8 2 storeys and attic. Red brick on stone plinth. Fluted stone frieze,
moulded stone cornice, both painted. Brick parapet with stone coping. Slate
mansard roof. 3 dormers with segmental heads. 1st floor: 3 windows, central
single sash and 2 tripartite ones, recessed, no glazing bars, block sills.
Ground floor: 2 C19 canted stone bay windows, 3 lights, sash, no glazing
bars, frieze, cornice and panelled parapet. Central door of 6 panels, 2
glazed in plain stone surround. Doorcase of engaged Doric columns, fluted
frieze, dentil cornice and pediment. Old tile roof to rear of house. Ornate
Victorian conservatory adjoins house to north.
Dunkirk House and Hillside with their garden walls form a group.
