-80a- Shaped and moulded slate with winged cherubs heads in the shoulders and in the head a round panel: Seated, robed and cloaked figure, holding a stone tablet, the other hand resting on a Holy Bible upon a tomb. To John Parr of Cropwell Butler d. 3rd 1781 in his 51st year. -Involvd in Dust here lie the last remains/ Of him who firmly bore Deaths lingring Pains/ To Wife affectionate, to Friend sincere/ Courteous to all, and to his Children dear/ Such was the Man. his grief he left behind/ Hoping his Soul eternal Joy will find-.
