Bandstand, 1901, by J.&.A. Law Ironfounders (Glasgow). Brick and stone
base, cast iron columns with Corinthian capitals, and decorative railings
and spandrels. Octagonal plan. Ogee metal cupola with decorative eaves
board, cast iron angle consoles and ornamental cresting. Central swept
spirelet with patterned cast iron gallery, cupped ball finial and vane.
