Farmhouse. Probably C17, possibly with earlier remains, later alterations.
Coursed limestone walling and concrete interlocking tile roof with stone
gable coping, left end and ridge stacks: rendered. Catslide roof at rear
with narrow intersecting gable. 2 storeys and possibly of 2 builds. 3 +
1 windows. Main garden front: replaced sash windows with glazing bars on
first floor, except for a small tripartite sash on right. On ground floor a
C20 French window, a recessed doorway and 2 mid C19 20-pane sashes. At
right a short screen wall in front of wood stair to first-floor granary
door. Pent extension behind. Small new attic window in gable end. Old
fire insurance plaque in centre of front elevation.
