House, formerly a farmhouse. Possibly C17, extended and refurbished in mid C19.
Plastered cob on rubble footings; rubble or cob stacks topped with C19 brick;
thatched roof. 2-room plan house facing east. Main room with rear lateral stack
appears to be earlier than left (south) room which has projecting end stack and is
recessed from main front. 2 storeys. Regular 3-window front, 2 to main room and 1
to left room, of mid C19 large pane sashes with margin panes. Door to left of main
block with gabled and thatch-roofed porch. No carpentry exposed on ground floor.
Roof not inspected.
