Rectory, now private house. Circa 1840s, altered later C19 and extended circa 1958.
Stucco to walls, hipped dry slate roof with wide eaves on paired brackets and brick
chimneys over original rear wall and to rear of wing. Altered plan later C19
probably 2 rooms with central stair originally; now with stair to rear, left and
double depth rear wing partly circa 1958. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window west
front. Central arched sash with intersecting glazing bars in former door position;
folding louvred shutters; flanking 16-pane hornless sashes with horizontal sliding
louvred shutters and 12-pane hornless sashes to first floor. All with concealed
boxes and some crown glass. Entrance to north side wall towards rear with 2
unfluted Doric columns in antis and open pediment on consoles. 6-panel door with
marginal glazed overlight. 12-pane hornless sash over. Most other windows are 12-
or 16-pane sashes.
Interior has dog-leg stair with wreathed mahogany handrail over octagonal newel and
stick balusters said to be a later Victorian insertion. Some panelled doors may be
original but moulded ceiling bands are said to be later.
