Farmhouse. C18, with C16 or early C17 core and C19 alterations.
Chequered red and grey brick to west gable end, with area of C16 or
early C17 red brick in English bond to south of centre. Plain tile
roof. 2 parallel ranges, possibly of different dates, provided with
double-fronted gable end in C18 or early C19, 2 storeys and garret.
Plat band to longer south elevation. Both ranges half-hipped to road,
gables joined across bases of half hips by continuous brickwork,
concealing valley. Brick ridge stack towards centre of south range.
Regular 2-window front to west gable end, of 3-light leaded windows
with top lights. 2 C19 canted ground-floor bay windows under continuous
hood, with half-glazed door to left of centre of gable. Interior not
inspected. Included for group value.
