Detached cottage. Probably C16. Rendered timber-framing, thatched
roof with half-hip to left and hip to right, axial brick stack.
Gable end to road, baffle-entry. Two-storey, 1-window. Planked
door in thatched porch to right of centre, 2-light casement to
either side and single-light casement to first floor. Left return
facing road has C20 ground floor casement, 2-light first floor
casement. Rear with exposed square-panelled timber-frame, 2-light
casement to ground floor, 3-light first floor casement, lean-to
extension attached to left. Interior not accessible at time of
survey (December 1986). This small cottage shares several features
in common with No 40 (q.v.) and may be contemporary.
