Barn, former farmhouse. C17, with late C18 and early C19 alterations and additions.
Coursed and dressed rubble stone, with ashlar dressings and stone slate roofs. Coped ashlar
gables with kneelers, plus quoins. North front has 2 doorways to the right with flush
ashlar surrounds, and a single similar doorway to the left with beyond a single round
headed archway. In the centre an external stone staircase leading to a loft door with flush
ashlar surround. Eitherside are single loft openings. South front has a single doorway to
the left, and another to the right, now partly blocked, both with flush ashlar surrounds.
Above a central single light chamfered window with to the right a former 2-light
chamfered mullion window and to the left a loft opening with flush ashlar surround.
INTERIOR has at the east end, feeding stalls with ashlar walls with regular openings for
feeding.
