1500 circa. A timber-framed house. 2 storeys. 3 bays, the northernmost
having projecting moulded windows on carved brackets each of 5 lights on
both floors. In the framing between are 3 panels containing diamond timber
ornamentation. The other bays contain old timbers but the windows and
door are modern. Tiled roof. 1 (modern) dormer. The VCH says that the
centre chimney-stack has large open brick fireplaces.

Nos 1 & 2, Norman House, The Tower House, Lamb House, Nos l3 to 17 (consec)
and No 1 Mermaid Street form a group.
