Late C18, early C19 house with southern bay of painted brick. Northern part of facade converted in 1929 by Ernest George Trobridge, with mock timber framing to first floor and brick ground floor facade. Tiled roof. Two storeys, three bays. Southern carriageway arch with casement above. Projecting reproduction oriel also on first floor.
Nos 1 and 2, Norman House, The Tower House, Lamb House, Nos 13 to 17 (consec) and No 1 Mermaid Street form a group.
