Farmhouse, now 2 dwellings. Dated 1709 over rear door; altered. Coursed
squared sandstone, with quoins, stone slate roof. Two-unit plan. Two
storeys and 3 bays; in the centre, a doorway (No. 4) inserted in the left
half of a formerly 4-light recessed-mullion window (3rd mullion also
removed)1 to the left, a 4-light window with recessed chamfered mullions, to
the right a similar 2-light window (restored), all these openings under
moulded cornices; at 1st floor, similar windows of 4, 4, and 2 lights.
Coping with kneelers at left gable, chimneys at this gable and at junction
with No. 2 to the right. Rear has different openings; coupled doorways in
the centre, with plain surrounds, a datestone over the left door with raised
lettering

two 3-light windows on each floor, all with recessed flat-faced mullions and
raised surrounds with cornices. Interior of No. 6 altered; (No. 4 not
inspected).
