Arthur Walter Moore for the Improved Industrial Dwellings Co., in consultation with Parker and Unwin. Painted rendering over brick; weatherboarding to peaks of doubled facing gables which strike the dominant chord of the design and are to be found again at the far end of the Green on Nos. 98 and 100. Tile roofs with swept eaves and exposed rafter ends; tile kneelers; tile hung dormers to centre of each return. Two storeys. Two-window range. Vernacular Revival style; bilaterally symmetrical. Entrances near outer corners set in recessed, segmental-arched porches; flanking party wall is a pair of tripartite windows; double windows on axis above. All windows of an original 6 X 6 or 4 X 4 sash design. Axial stack on
front slope to hipped rear wing. Part of a group designed by Hubbard and Moore for the Improved Industrial Dwellings Co., and consisting of Nos. 70-124 Willifield Way even (q.v.); the units are roughly symmetrical about the recessed Willifield Green.
