Pair of cottages. 1909-1911.'Barry Parker and Raymond Unwin. Painted pebbledash with weatherboarded half dormer. Tile roof with swept, boxed eaves, returning to gable as cheeks. Two storeys and four-window range to pair. Vernacular Revival style. Entrances on returns, that to No.57 in single-storey porch reached through round brick arch. that to No.59 under bracket porch. Bilaterally symmetrical above party wall, with three-light casements paired on ground and first floors. Outer ranges with coupled square casements to both floors, the lintels of the latter to boxed eaves; the ground-floor outer-range windows are lower than the centre windows, suggesting a level change within; interior inspection not possible. Weathering to ground-floor windows. All openings flat arched with casements of original design. Axial ridge stack to party wall. Plain rectangular elevation relieved by centrally-placed half dormer with eaves returns conforms to a type commonly found in the Suburb. Nos. 57-111 Willifield Way (odd) were designed by Parker and Unwin as part of the
original artisans' quarter. The group is a most important example of a complete Parker and Unwin streetscape.
