Artisans' cottages. 1909-1910. Barry Parker and Raymond Unwin. Painted pebbledash with hipped roof of tile and exposed rafter ends. Two storeys and three-window range, the centre of which projects to form a gable facing crosswing; flanking ranges are gable-headed half dormers of three lights each. Vernacular Revival style. Entrance to centre unit is just off axis with gable ridge, a two-light window to the left. Weatherings to openings, all of which are flat arched. End units are mirror images of one another, with entrances near outer corners of the block. Three-light ground- and first-floor fenestration frame projecting range. Left return of two-window range,
gable-headed half dormers of three lights each; single-storey gable facing wing to rear. Right return also of two-window range, the dormers of three-lights each; similar rear wing. Axial ridge stacks to party walls, that to left thicker than that to the right. Included in this listing is that section of garden wall which No.99 shares with No.97 (q.v.). Part of a most important group consisting of Nos. 57-111 odd (q.v.) and Nos. 70-124 even (q.v.) Willifield and which is laid out according to Parker and Unwin principles.
