Three obelisks. One is to South West of the lake, one to the
field behind and one is to rear of the house. c1788 designed
to hold 3 lamps to light John Carr's Crescent and originally
situated at the foot of The Slopes.
The lamps were replaced C19 and the obelisks moved in 1818.
Limestone. Tapering octagonal shaft with moulded spreading
base upon octagonal square cut plinth with 3 recessed panels.
The squared stone base to ground has chamfered corners.
Approximately 4m high.
