Two houses with shops, shops now combined. 1836-39 with C20
alterations. Painted brick in Flemish bond, with moulded
timber cornice and slate roof with two brick stacks.
EXTERIOR: 4-storey, 4-window front. Shopfront has canted plate
glass windows between brick piers, and upstairs access door
recessed at right end. Windows on first and second floors are
12-pane sashes, on third floor unequal 9-pane sashes; one each
at right end of second and third floors is C20 replacement.
All have moulded sills and flat arches of gauged brick.
