Memorial statue. 1904, resited mid C20. By Alfred Turner. Over
life-size standing bronze figure. Square rusticated concave
sided Portland stone pedestal with cornice and small relief
panel. On right and left, seated life-size bronze figures of
Industry and Motherhood. Shaped corniced base with plinth, set
on stepped foundation.
