Succah (ritual booth). 1929-30. By Mansell Jenkinson. Brick
with reconstituted stone dressings. Single storey, with flat
roof which can be slid aside on tracks, exposing the interior
of the building. Double door with overlight, flanked by a
single window to left, and 2 to right. Canted right end has
door with overlight, flanked by single windows.
The succah is an important ancillary building to the synagogue
(qv), and is used for worship at the feast of Tabernacles.
