Cl8 origin. 2 storeys, attics and basement in red brick. Hipped pantile
roof. 2 dormers of 2 lights, casements with no glazing bars. 4 small windows,
flush frames, glazing bars. On ground floor, No 9 has late C19 shop front,
No 10 has the remains of a C19 shop front while No 8 has 2 small windows
on ground floor, other shop windows are modern. Pantiled 1 storey outshot
to the left.

All the listed buildings in Market Place and Clothing Factory, Sandgate
form a group.
