Church Street elevation refaced in Ruabon brick. C17 or earlier, standing on the site of and possibly incorporating materials of a chapel served from the Parish Church before the reformation, when it was apparently closed. 3 storeys and attics, gabled to road. 4 windows, segmental heads, 3 on 2nd floor, one on top. 2 C19 shopfronts, modern glass. Market Place side return elevation is partly rendered with windows and doors to ground floor. Gable mostly obscured by nos.6 & 7 Market Place (separately listed at Grade II at 1253583), which is built onto nos.148 & 149, two small windows visible. NMR.
Nos 119 to 123A (consec), Board Inn, Nos 126 to 135 (consec), Nos 137 to 151
(consec) and Nos 153 to 157 (consec) form a group.
